Proposal

Story Homes has submitted a reserved matters planning application for 187 high quality new homes on land south of Blackpool Road in Poulton-le-Fylde. Plans have been submitted for a development of new homes on land off Blackpool Road in Poulton-le-Fylde, following public consultation in May 2019. The site forms part of a wider allocation for residential development in the adopted Wyre Local Plan which is identified as a sustainable location for around 300 new homes. The site will also provide a parcel of land for the development of a new primary school. The proposed development would deliver a mix of one, two, three, four and five bedroom homes, of which 30% will be affordable. To view the site location, click on the Location Plan tab below. Consultation details: Story Homes consulted with local residents and key stakeholders on proposals from 29 April to 10 May. Following the consultation, which includes a letter drop to the local area, Story Homes submitted a detailed planning application to Wyre Council in summer 2019.
