North East selected as location for our first Signature range development

July 2017

We have chosen the North East as the first region in the UK to feature our exclusive Signature range homes.

Having rapidly expanded into the North East in recent years and with 11 developments across the region, we decided that the sought-after town of Morpeth would be the best location in which to launch this luxury, high specification range.

Last weekend, we opened our first Signature range show home at our Oakland Park development, which is situated next to The Dell on the outskirts of Morpeth and features a collection of 39 executive properties.

Nearly 200 visitors from the local area and further afield attended the opening and, with buyers reserving homes before the opening and on the day, half of the properties available at Oakland Park have already been reserved.

Oakland Park includes eight different house types – a mixture of four and five-bed detached homes with up to 2,770 sq ft of space – which have been designed exclusively for the development and built to the highest specification internally and externally.

The four-bed detached Sandhills show home, which has been styled by our interior designer Suzanne Webster, displays the features that come as standard in Signature range homes. These include multi-fuel stoves, bi-fold doors leading onto paved patio areas and large turfed gardens, inglenook fireplaces and electric garage doors. Bathrooms and en-suites are fitted with extensive tiling, double-ended baths, over head showers and fitted vanity units.

In addition, high-standard options from our partners – including tiles by renowned Spanish brand Porcelanosa, Hammonds fitted wardrobes and Laura Ashley designed kitchens – will allow buyers to personalise their homes.

Gillian Bell, sales manager, said: “It is testament to the ongoing growth and success of our North East operation that Morpeth was selected for the launch of our Signature range. While we’re already known for our high specifications, this premium range goes a step further in offering a superior finish, and it was great to showcase this to so many potential buyers at our opening and to receive such positive feedback on the appearance and features of the property.

“Our Oakland Park development has proved popular from the start due to the quality and finish of the homes and the desirable location. We had received more than 200 registrations of interest by the time work started on site last year, and the amount of plots reserved in just a few months suggests that this high demand is set to continue.”

Our show home at Oakland Park is now open from Thursday to Monday between 11am and 5pm.
