Story Homes has submitted plans for a new development of family homes in Kendal.
The outline planning application relates to land at Kendal Parks Farm in the South Lakeland town.
South Lakeland District Council is being asked to consider the plans for up to 105 new homes on the site, which has already been allocated for residential development in the Local Plan Land Allocations.
The plans incorporate the construction of the new family homes with all associated access, car parking and surrounding sensitive landscaping.
David Hayward, Development Planner for Story Homes said: “Story Homes is well known throughout Cumbria for building homes which are sensitively designed and enhance local communities. We have worked closely with a number of key stakeholders to ensure that our plans for this allocated site will see the area developed in the most appropriate way.”
Story Homes’ is renowned for designing and building developments which are in keeping with the local surroundings, through the use of local materials and design cues. Story Homes has been operating in Cumbria for more than 27 years and recently opened its first ever development in Kendal.
‘The Beeches’ off Natland Road in the town has been popular with buyers since its first exclusive launch event was held in Autumn, with one buyer queuing overnight to secure her dream home.
