New appointment in customer services

Story Homes has appointed a new Customer Services Manager to head-up its award-winning customer service team.

Nicola Wright, 42, will be responsible for maintaining high quality customer service and to implement new policies as the business expands and grows into new regions.

Nicola, from Workington, brings with her a wealth of experience having worked in customer services for over 20 years. She has worked in a similar role for a Cumbrian housing group and is already enjoying the challenges that her new roles brings.

Nicola said: “I had heard of Story Homes before coming to work here, as I have worked in the housing industry for many years. I was excited to join the team as the business is renowned for its first-rate customer service.

“We will be working hard to ensure that we not only maintain our standards by delighting our customers but also to ensure that we have rigourous policies in place. This becomes increasingly key in our business operations as we expand into new areas such as Lancashire and the North East.”

Story Homes was recently awarded ‘Five Star’ customer service status by the Home Builders Federation which reflects 96% of its customers would recommend the company to their friends. The industry standard is 86% and Story Homes is proud of its ability to provide an excellent customer experience with first class staff.

Nicola will also play a key role in developing her team of professionals to meet the demands of a fast-growing business, she said: “Our challenge is to build and expand our professional team across our new regions, continuing to provide excellent customer experience to retain our Five Star status. However, with a robust business plan in place supporting us in our strategies, we are certain that we will meet the challenge.”

With developments in Cumbria, Scotland, Lancashire and the North East of England, Story Homes’ Customer Services team ensures that high quality and consistent support is available across its regions.
